I made an order from Japan where I was asked to pay the Canadian taxes beforehand. Then, when I took reception of my parcel from DHL Canada, I was required to pay the very same taxes A SECOND TIME. After many redirected phone calls, and many e-mais, representing hours of work, and thought presented with hard evidence of me paying TWICE the same taxes, DHL refused to refund me the amount. They make you spend hours of your time as a strategy to discourage you - this is a freight company to avoid if you like smooth sailing.
