I spent 10 days serving at Dhamma Pakasa, and I believe this is a place where you can find peace and genuine friendship. The management team is always well-organized and caring. The people there are kind, helpful, and very supportive, especially if you are serving. I was initially a bit nervous when I started serving; if you have no experience in the kitchen, it can be challenging at first. I just finished my 3rd 10 day sit here. I normally sit at Dhamma Dhara but flew in for this course. The food was absolutely outstanding. I'm celiac and gluten free and they were so accommodating. Also the prairie to walkis so wonderful. Everything and everyone was incredible 10/10.

I absolutely love this place. After 12 years, and many courses, I will say Vipassana has been the single most meaningful and positive endeavor in my life and would recommend it to anyone curious about it. I have meditated at centers around the world and this is really something special. This facility is comfortable, well managed, and the beautiful natural environment is the perfect setting to do this important inner work.

I was looking for peace and this is where I found it. A refuge from the world filled with people who care about relieving the suffering of others. Excellent facilities with plans to improve them. The buildings are pretty close together and there are walking areas around the ponds and in the prairie. Good food too! I’m grateful this place exists.
