I do not recommend this place. Looks nice on the surface and front end staff is actually quite lovely (for now; changes may be coming), residents are friendly. But the company is incredibly frustrating and will take you for every penny they can, justified or not. Rent is stupidly expensive, and over the years we've had issues with getting receipts, never could get a copy of a contract for my mother's suite, cleaning scheduling, setting up a phone, Lifeline, getting damage deposit back, on and on it goes. I would love to have given a good review. There were many great things about my parents living at Devonshire however … my dad is owed 388K from a life lease that may never get repaid. The Christensen family should be utterly ashamed at abusing elders! There has been a total breach of trust and Greg Christensen has not been a good custodian of their lease funds. My parents too made a life lease loan when living at Devonshire. Vacated the suite end of April 2022; $320,000 (their money) yet to be repaid. They thought their money was safe but sadly the reputation and trust is currently in tatters.
