I knew nothing about ayurvedic medicine. Meeting with Teresa felt like falling into the loving hands of a wise elder (though she is younger than me by about 10 years.) She explained things in a way I could understand and offered accessible and reasonable ways of handling the inevitable changes of an aging, relatively fit body. She has become my trusted mentor in matters of food and fitness. I would and will recommend her to anyone wanting to feel good in the mind and body (in other words, EVERYONE.)
I believe in coincidences and it is no coincidence that Teresa’s last name is Devine. It may not be spelled as “divine”, but I assure you she embodies it in every way. Teresa is loving compassion in action. Her presence is calming yet strong. It is these qualities that allows her to hold space for her students.
