I had an excellent experience purchasing an airplane from Kevin Detray. He was refurbishing an aircraft that I was interested in. Through the whole process he was professional, responsive, and very upfront and honest about what he liked, and the challenges he was facing with the airplane. In the end he sent a great airplane my way with no surprises. I would definitely recommend Kevin and happily do business with him again. Thank you Kevin.

I have had many aircraft dealings with Kevin Detray, over several years, and have found him to be extremely professional in every way. What I admire the most about him is his honesty. Good news or bad, you can always count on the truth from him. If you are looking to buy or sell and aircraft, you wont find a more personable, honest, professional aircraft broker out there.

As a professional pilot for 30 years, I have participated in multiple aircraft transactions. I purchased a Piper Dakota through Kevin, who was representing the seller, and was thoroughly impressed by how Kevin ran the deal. He is a consummate professional, and I could not have been happier as a buyer. I highly recommend Kevin to anyone that requires a broker to help guide them through the selling or buying process.

I found Kevin to be a stand up guy. Polite, patient, and willing to make a buyer happy. He sold me an aircraft, price negotiations were friendly, he took the aircraft to a radio shop and a mechanic for a few repairs I wanted before delivery. He also wiped down and fueled it himself before I picked it up. Gave me a checkout in it to make sure I was safe to fly home. What more can you ask of a broker? As for the negative reviews.. This broker is very unprofessional and hot tempered! I talked to him about and aircraft and then called to talk to owner. I got a call from the broker Kevin screaming what the hell am I doing calling aircraft owner? I appologized several times for not knowing I wasnt suppose to do that. He was unforgiving and even refused to show me or sell me the airplane. I would not use this broker because he will scare off potential buyers!

Terrible attitude Detray aviation owner/broker Kevin has bad attitude. He called me screaming and cursing because I contacted an aircraft owner directly. I appologized several times not knowing it was as he said "unethical" to do that. His childish behavior didn't end there, he even refused to show or sell me the airplane. I later found out he was mad because he thought I was trying to avoid paying him a broker fee which I assured him never even crossed my mind!
