I was hired by the owner almost 3 years ago. She is very professional and holds each client very close to her heart. I had my interview done at the facility. Most assisted living facilities that i have been too give me a sad an depressing feeling or they just stink. Desire to live was warm and welcoming. It smelled like home to me. My loved-one has been at Desire to Live for 7 years now. Ms. Butler has provided excellent and dependable care. Her experience and expertise in working with those with special needs far exceeds any other facility, whether it be nursing home or memory care facility, in our experience. Most facilities did not understand the disease nor did they understand how to reshape behaviors, positively.

Well I was working for her never paid me on time and called me this morning and told me that the work I did wasn't good enough and made comment saying that I was " her slave working for her and she complained took money away I've earned cussed me out and slammed doors in my face told me how worthless I was and treats everybody poorly with no care in the world Bout nobody herself and money

I went to Desire to Live three months ago. It was back in June. When I spoke to Wanda she sounded like a really nice lady. She was offering me job and told me I could stay at her facility. At that time I have been in a hospital. It was back in June. I thought I was going to find calmness and peace by helping others in need. I instead found chaos.
