I’m honestly surprised to see some of the negative reviews for Design Within Reach because my experience was the complete opposite. I worked with the general manager, Jonn, today and he was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the process. He took the time to answer all my questions and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Great customer service like that really stands out.
Stopped by the store on Friday around 2-3ish PM. I was the only customer in the entire store, yet after being greeted and told someone would assist me, no one ever did. The employees were just standing around, and only as I was walking out did someone finally approach me way too late. Really disappointing service.
Maggie was the best and made my day! She was able to return my Aeron chair that another location said they couldn’t return and got me into an embody gamer chair that I absolutely love in a great color. She is so friendly and professional and I recommend going to her for your point of contact
My husband and I walked into this store with the intent on buying furniture for our dining room. We have a mid century home and we only furnish it with furniture that fits the mcm vibe. We walked into the store having just come from the park with our two sons who were content in a stroller. No one ever asked us if we needed help and one worker even laughed at us.
