I’m extremely disappointed with Design Within Reach (DWR). This is not my first time experiencing delays and poor communication, despite having spent a significant amount of money with DWR. I recently purchased a desk and paid extra for their “white glove” delivery service, which included assembly. On 1/12, the desk arrived incomplete and no assembly was done. A big Fan of DWR for about 20 years. It is always a pleasure to visit the store. JOSE is a WONDERFUL person- Kind, Humble and Professional. He supports you in your projects with genuine kindness, no pressure and he is always attentive. I once again left your store with a BIG smile. Thank you SO MUCH JOSE!
Unfortunately, the customer service and follow -through at this particular location is subpar. It takes numerous follow ups to get things done, and there’s very low accountability when things go wrong. I cannot recommend DWR.
Beautiful sofa, terrible follow-through. I received the wrong configuration, and four weeks later I’m still waiting for a clear answer on when the correct part will arrive. Every update has to be chased by me — at this point I’m basically part of their customer service team. Still no timeline, no photo of the part, and no real clarity on what’s happening behind the scenes.
