This place had good reviews, and we wanted to support a local business — that’s why we chose Desert Rose Tax. Unfortunately, what we experienced was beyond disappointing — it was a nightmare. Desert Rose Tax has zero regard for securing client information — and we don’t say that lightly. We later learned — confirmed directly by the preparer — that their standard operating procedure is to leave sensitive tax documents, including W-2s and Social Security numbers, out in a public area at the front of the office. Cynthia is absolutely amazing. We dropped off the documents we needed to file, she gave us a call when she needed to clarify something or needed another document, let us know when she was ready for us to come in, we came in and were out within minutes since we just reviewed the taxes with her and then signed. I have never felt more RELIEF when it came to filing taxes. She is the best.
