We're not the typical olive oil people, however if you are ever in this area please stop in and sample a few of the different flavors. We sampled the Jalapeño Cilantro dipping oil and the Glazed Onion balsamic vinegar and had to purchase them. We then found our way across the street to The Pint and ordered the artisan bread appetizer. It comes with "beer cheese" (which is excellent) but used our oils as a mixed dipping. Shopping in this store was a blast! The owner grows and makes his own olive oil so you know what you're getting is authentic. The owner is so knowledgeable and friendly; he explained everything so thoroughly. There are so many options, he has a tasting area where you can try all the different olive oil flavors. My favorites were the basil, garlic, and orange olive oil flavors. It tastes completely different from what you get in the grocery store, it was delicious! My partner and I absolutely love the olive oils and vinegars (and honey!) from Desert Olive! This is our fourth or fifth time ordering Desert Olive products and we are so thrilled with the quality. The plain olive oil is fantastic, but the flavored ones are truly a treat. The lime one and the Meyer lemon are favorites. The vinegars are so well done with amazing depth of flavor. Do yourself a favor and order from this farm!
