I had an absolutely wonderful experience when I visited Desert Botanicals Day Spa over the holidays. As soon as I walked through the historic wooden gates, I could see the fire burning in the large stone fireplace. The historic building had just been restored to its former glory, inside and out. I felt like I was stepping back in time. I recommend the hot stone massage to melt the holiday stresses away.

First off, this is a beautiful location. People were walking around and taking pics of the place, which is what caught my attention. I wandered in (knowing that it was a "day spa") so I fully expected to walk in to some froufrou place. It wasnt! It's warm and has a southwestern sort of flair to it. The ladies working there were really nice, too. On a whim, I went ahead and decided to get a massage as it's been a while since I've had one. Besides the wonderful aesthetic, the staff and services are awesome. I highly recommend booking for the best massage experience and sticking around for a nice cup of tea in front of the beautiful fireplace. Treat your body and your soul. It was a very memorable part of my visit to Mesilla.

I feel great! My massage therapist really knew what she was doing. They made me feel right at home with hot tea in the Tea Room. I highly recommend Desert Botanicals.
