WARNING about unfair billing at Valley Medical Center Kent Station! My wife went for a simple appointment on August 28th. The doctor was nice but referred her to a specialist. No problem, right? Wrong. We received a bill for a "consultation" that happened on August 29th—a conversation my wife wasn't even aware of! First of all, the person who answers the phone sucks. I've got a friend who works at a funeral home who has more life than she does. Second, their next appointment availability is 2027?! What a joke.
Called for an appointment for my daughter - lady over the phone was rude and only said 1 year waiting lists and really couldn’t help after that ? What’s up guys ! Get it together
They won't even look at the calendar to give you estimated dates of an appointment without taking down all of your information. In the age of data breaches, be very careful and think twice before calling. They will not and have not removed my information. I didn't agree to them storing my information, and they now won't remove my information.
This clinic truly earns its two-star reviews. It's apparent they have little to no regard for their patients' well-being. Nurses are unresponsive to messages, and securing a prescription refill is impossible without a doctor's appointment—even when the next available slot is three months away. Their lack of sympathy is chilling; I was told, with a cold indifference, that 'there's nothing we can do.'
