My partner and I are first-time home buyers and Derek surpassed our expectations in helping us with the purchase of our home. He was always quick to respond to all of our emails and calls. I have nothing but great things to say about Derek. Before I got in contact with Derek I had a meeting with a Scotiabank advisor that ended with her saying “that purchasing a home in the 350-450’000$ range was not possible and to comeback if I settle for a condo or apartment in the $200’000 range.” Shortly after that meeting I reached out to Derek and after sharing some info he informed me I could likely qualify for a home in the $500’000 plus range. Derek made the process of applying and getting a mortgage on our first home very easy! His knowledge and understanding of the mortgage process made what could have been a very stressful situation stress free! He walked my partner and I through the process step by step and took his time with us. We are grateful to have worked with him!
