I encountered this attorney in a custody matter where she represented the opposing party. Throughout the case, she repeatedly made statements to the court that were contradicted by documentation. Briana handled a prenuptial agreement for me. She was very easy to work with, friendly, and conscious of the deadline (the wedding day!!). She clearly communicated New York State law and was honest with me about what my options would be in case of divorce. I am very happy that I worked with Briana and if I am ever in need of a family or matrimonial attorney again I will definitely work with her.
I found Ms. Denney’s courtroom manner and her communication style with the opposing side to be unexpectedly aggressive, and I felt it ultimately hurt my case. I left the experience feeling that her approach contributed to disappointing rulings that did not go in my favor and had long lasting consequences for me.
My experience with this attorney was distressing. Ms. Denney's approach, in my view, often overlooked the best interests of the child. I wouldn’t recommend her for anyone with a custody case. In mine, her involvement seemed to escalate the conflict, which was the last thing I—or my child—needed.
