I recently received a quote from these crooks for more than $1600. to ship two acrylic on canvas paintings 23.5 X 25 inches with an approximate market value of $1200. for both from Vancouver to north western Ontario.I checked other shipping companies and received a quote of $225. for the same shipment.I suggest you shop around so you don't get gouged by this company.Waddingtons refered them among others and I don't know why.I suggest you contact the Shipping Box who are reasonable.
Denbigh got a large work into the elevator and into the suite that another art moving company could not. I assumed the work would not live upstairs after that fiasco but Denbigh brought the work onsite with the rest of the delivery and offered to try. They did it without batting an eye. It was no big deal for them which I think speaks of their experience and expertise. I had an excellent experience with Denbigh Fine Art Services in Vancouver, British Columbia. In June 2025 I needed to ship artwork from Vancouver, Canada to Prague in the Czech Republic. I worked with Dylan McHugh throughout the process. Everything was arranged over the phone—no in-person visit was necessary. Installers are good but suffer from an arrogant and insulting General Manager. If you want a lesson in the worst possible customer service, talk to Ed Chan. Two stars only because the actual workers tried their best to make up for an extremely bad GM. Avoid if you care about quality service and care for your assets.
You owe it to yourself to at least check them out, they are the best!
