I arrived on time for my flight today, only to be told at bag check that I was too late and needed to go on the next flight 7hr wait. Got through security and then watched my flight board and saw them checking oversized bags at the gate. They refused to let me get on the plane without my bag. Never flying delta again, they clearly overbooked and bumped me. Edit: I forgot to say that everyone I spoke to was super rude to the point where it was like they were enjoying messing with me. This has been the worst travel experience of my life. We had a flight with Delta last week. They cancelled it just one day before departure, forcing us to scramble for a replacement flight. Then our new flight was delayed—first by an hour, then two. After we finally boarded, we were stuck on the tarmac for another hour. Because of all the delays, we missed our connecting flight. And it only got worse. When we finally arrived, one checked bag and a carry-on were missing. We reported it immediately—they said they’d contact us.... read more

Its a commercual plane. Not fun, feels lilea cattle car in the sky if you don't buy first class... but better than driving cross-country.
