Awful customer service by the Delta team in Sacramento. We are traveling to St George, UT this morning to spend Easter weekend with family. I considered rush hour traffic, parking availability, and budgeted extra time due to the holiday weekend ahead. Today we were reminded of why we fly exclusively with Delta. We were greeted by Samuel at the outside bag drop. I walk with a cane due to disabilities, and Samuel did everything he could to make it easier for me and my wife. He did all the lifting, he got all our paperwork, he asked if we needed any help otherwise. These may seem like "just doing his job", but thats not always the case. Samuel really lighted our load. Make this make sense Delta, I paid last night for my checked bag, you have a self service kiosk to print my bag tag, you had 3 counters stations that said "self service bag dropoff" yet still made me wait 45 min in the "agent assist" line because you didnt staff the self service baggage drop-off. After the 45 minute wait, it took me 30 seconds at the counter.
