Fantastic retirement residence with a friendly, welcoming, and tight knit community of seniors and staff. Delmanor Elgin Mills is a wonderful choice for a retirement residence in Richmond Hill, ON. I have visited this location to do my regular music program for several years. I have known many of the residents for a long time and they are very happy there. Many are dear friends with each other. The staff consistently goes above and beyond for their residents! My grandfather lived here from October of 2021 to march of 2023. There was an about 80 year old doctor still practicing to check up on patients. As well my grandfather fell in about November of 2022 and they just proceeded to put him in bed for 3 days before taking him to the hospital. He was in and out of the hospital from November to March. He passed away this April. He was 95 and slowly declining but after his first fall, he started rapidly declining. I am sure I could have gotten more time with him if they didn't neglect... read more
