If you're looking for a photographer, run don't walk to hire Delk Develops! I first hired Robert a few years ago for a birthday photo shoot with a few friends. It was such a great experience that we've been using Delk Develops ever since. He's warm and friendly and very professional, he arrives prepared and on time, he has a wonderful eye and just makes the whole experience very fun. Horrible communication from day 1 and throughout. He ultimately never delivered edited photos - just the raw ones. When I let him know my disappointment, he didn't offer to make it right. He called it a difference in vision. What photographer's "artistic vision" doesn't include editing at least a few select photos? And I wasn't even picky. I just asked him to keep the line down my belly, which he originally took out without asking. Thankfully I didn't pay for this shoot. Why? I had a very disappointing experience with this photographer. While initially professional, the communication quickly became overly personal and inappropriate for a client relationship. There were repeated attempts to shift conversations in a more intimate direction, which it did. Maintaining clear professional boundaries is essential in this industry, and unfortunately that was not my experience. I did not feel respected as a client, and it ultimately affected my trust with him as a person.
