Friendly owner, she offered to ball my yarns. It's a quaint shop tucked inside a refurbished building known as the shops. I drove right past the building and it's parking lot; but no worries there's a community parking lot at The Canal Basin Park. It was a lovely 3 minute walk to the yarn store from the park. There's a variety of yarns to choose from, knitting supplies out number crochet, and they offer free patterns. A well equipped restroom is on site within the hallway of the shops. This is a wonderful little shop, I loved the yarn selection and colors. I made a good start to the scarf I'm planning on knitting. Carla is friendly and knowledgeable. We got talking about fingerless mitts and she handed me two patterns, including one of her own.
