Got the famous sub. Huge! Not a big fan of the bread though. Brought the sandwich down a notch. Friend had a chicken salad wrap, said it was good. Next time I go I am getting a wrap as not a fan of the bread. Well next time got a wrap. Mine whimpy. Friends meaty. Different person made each. I decide where we eat when we travel up north, so gonna pick else where before I take a chance on getting a wimpy wrap. Stewart's is better and way less $. Stinky in there too.
Came here our way up to Vermontville, NY. Kept getting recommendations about the subs so we made out lunch stop here. The grinders are made to order and a big. Couldn't finish it so saved it for the next day. The Grinders were tasty.
The best!
Hidden gem. Great meat counter and deli. They have 18" subs that could be a food challenge and their demi (smaller football shaped bread roll) has more on it than you'd get from any sub chain. I make it a point to stop there whenever I'm passing through.
Ordered a turkey, roast beef and ham half sub. When we got it home it was only turkey. Now if I had ordered just turkey I would say , what a great sandwich because there was a lot of turkey there! And I understand mistakes will be made sometimes but I sure was looking forward to the three meat combo. I will go back but I'll inspect my sandwich next time. 2026-Ordered sandwich and it was perfect. Great place for food and beer. Thankyou.
