I wish I could give zero stars. The media courthouse sold my home for 400. I was late paying by two days because my car was stolen. So my autistic son and are officially homeless and they could care less. There are no homeless immigrants it’s displaced Americans who are being taxed out of our homes. BEWARE!! They have a new public access system where anyone can view, purchase, download, and get a certified copy of property deeds. Yet there's no system to pay ALL of your taxes online. FraudSleuth was eliminated without notifying owners. Now there's PropertyAlerts that use your Folio number to give notifications. Which is useless considering folio numbers are accessible through public records. Tax claims and the Deeds departments are exposing sensitive information and potentially compromising owners' property!
I’ve fully paid my enormous Delaware County taxes! Each time I call to verify if they received it, for weeks now I have been getting an automated message advising me that they are experiencing “technical difficulties”! No one is ever available to speak by phone when I call this office! If you don’t live in Delaware county, and are considering moving there, run as fast as you can in another direction!
Down right mean and nasty people...unbelievable they way they treat property owners.
The girls who collect the past due taxes are very ignorant and rude.
