This door knob brand was what the contractor used when our house was built. It was brand new construction and we moved in Dec 2016. The front door knob's spindle has a notch/grove worn into it where it protrudes through the latch assembly keyway. This means we have to REALLY twist the knob so the latch assembly moves enough to open the door. My elderly father cannot even open the door as is. The "lifetime warranty" is useless since it wasn't purchased by me, but by the contractor (3rd party). Regardless, this knob only laste... read more
