If you're thinking about moving to Frisco Lakes, Frisco, TX, take a good look before doing so. The indoor pool has been infected with Legionella for more than a 1.5 years, and the other facilities seem to be down with ongoing issues. The HOA fees have not been adjusted to make up for the loss of use, and the Board of Directors sounds more like Washington DC than Texas. If you're looking for a place with sound management and functional facilities, this is not it.
The indoor pool and spa have confirmed legionella by Denton county and the CDC. This is the second time in less than a year. The HOA answer to the home owners is conference calls. The spa in the new Northside has been closed most of the time since we moving here. They have a system here where 3 volunteers HaHa neighbors walk there area with the point of taking picture of homeowners yard that have cute garden flags. Think about living next door to one of these people.
