My experience was not a pleasant one. Erica was the branch manager on duty. I called twice inquiring about depositing a large check around $7.K that had my new married last name instead of my legal last name. I was transferred to a call center who told me I needed to provide my marriage license and driver's license in order for the manager to help me out. This is a really great local bank where I'm able to use shared branching.
I have an account at a different credit union that is almost an hour round trip from my home. I’m 86 and try to stay off the roads. I’m able to withdraw cash at this branch which is a 5 mile round trip for me. Not only do I appreciate this service but the staff is amazing at helping me. They are all great.
I’ve recently moved to Surprise and wanted a local credit union, found CSCU & went in and Johanna helped me, very knowledgeable, polite & very friendly. She made several calls to me to make sure I wasn’t needing help with anything. Always smiles when I come in and the overall location I really like. No problems at all, easy process getting my accounts all dialed in. She’s an asset to Copper State.
Terrible CU. They will DING you for ANYTHING/EVERYTHING. They say their sisters with other CUs but really they’re NOT. Have Been dinged for $34 dollars so many times IVe lost count. Even if you have money in your savings they’re too lazy to do a transfer like other financial institutions do. You can have PLENTY of money in one of their so called SISTER CUs instead of transferring the money and covering the transaction they CHARGE you another FEE. THIS PLACE IS BEYOND ridiculous.
