I can’t say enough good things about the crew at Deep South Divers. From the beginning, Wade, the owner, and Fran, my Open Water instructor, made it clear that they weren’t just interested in getting me through a class and handing me a certification card. They wanted me to actually understand what I was doing and be comfortable and safe in the water. Very good local dive shop with good instructors. They also have some very good dive trips.
My wife and I just completed our open water with DSD and I can't say enough good things about them. Wade, Frances, and Brian are all fantastic instructors who were professional, knowledgable, safe, and kind. Since we did our work in November, we met up at the shop in advance to pick up the equipment and then went to Panama City for the weekend for pool and open water work.
