I had used Debbie Pence for multiple years for my small business as well as personal along woth multiple family members. I cut ties due to location change a year and a half ago and was told everything was taken care of when switching accountants with her team. I just now received a statement balance from almost four years ago in the mail with a missed payment fee. She said that she has not got around to it until just now? It was from THREE years ago! I used Debbie Pence for my tax returns in the past. In 2019 she didn't add one of my dependants costing me money in my return and covid stimulus checks. (I wasn't that upset, I understand mistakes happen.) However, when I would call to check if she was going to remedy it she would reply with a surly remark and tell me to wait. It took a year and a half and new accountant to to get fixed. If you want an accountant that will at least pretend they care about your money don't use Debbie Pence

While this is not the only person at this location I made phone call after phone call to find out what was going on my my taxes with Brian. I am a very understanding person when it comes to unexpected circumstances however after leaving months and months of several voicemails and emails I would not get a response. She was referred to me by another company. I was impressed by our first conversation and how easy she was to talk to about taxes. When we actually got to the taxes...she made things easy to understand and even started on next years taxes. I had never been to a cpa before, and I got extremely lucky in finding her. I had sold a home, bought a home, inherited taxable property, and had w2's. She made it look easy and understandable. I look forward to further business with her in the future and will be recommending her to others.
