The care and kindness of all of the staff in the day surgery unit was 100% from my 7.45am admission until I was discharged at 5.30pm. The whole experience was explained thoroughly to me by various members of the unit including the surgeon on the day, this eased my nerves and kept me calm. One of the fantastic nurses Jan even accompanied me to nuclear medicine just before my op which was a such a kind thing to do.
