I have had a very disappointing experience with Day & Ross's AI dashcam and driver monitoring system. The AI camera is constantly watching the driver and frequently gives false alerts for things that are not actual safety issues. Instead of helping, it creates unnecessary stress and distraction while driving. The system also feels like an invasion of privacy. Today, July 17, at approximately 8:20 a.m., on Highway 11 East near Nipigon, a company truck driver made a sudden hard brake application without warning. There were no hazard lights or signals, and the maneuver created a dangerous situation. I had a safe following distance but was forced to brake hard to avoid a collision. There was heavy traffic behind me, and the sudden stop could have caused a serious accident involving multiple vehicles. Please review this driver’s conduct, as it presents a significant safety concern.
