We have worked with Rachel at Day by Day Home Therapy for several years now to help with my father’s dementia - initially with at home visits and now an inpatient memory care unit. The care provided to my father (and to our family as we navigate how best to take care of him) has been personal, thoughtful, and detail oriented. She communicates by phone and email and is always very responsive. Highly recommend!
My mother-in-law has dementia and has had issues with aggression. Rachel helped us identify the triggers and approaches to help reduce the challenging behaviors. Rachel is extremely knowledgeable about dementia and Alzheimer’s. The second she walked into our house with her smile, patience and calm approach I was glad we had found her. She had my mother in law smiling within seconds. Rachel is knowledgeable and compassionate when it comes to educating the family about dementia and the associated behaviors.
