In my experience it was horrible, i had a racist teacher who treated me the only black girl in the class as if i was not even there she would say to raise my hand if i wanted to speak but when i did she ignored when i got up to talk to her (like all the other "teachers pets"} she would tell me to raise my hand and not answer my question i was in 1st grade i think the teacher was just horrible and had favorites.
