My company was owed money for services it provided to another company. To help me collect, D&G needed some upfront money for a lawyer, which I thought wasn't a good first method of collecting, cause lawyers are so expensive and not always reliable, however, this method was successful! D&G average 33% collection rate was higher than another collection co. I inquired, but it was in the ball park, and at least they collected, better than my co. could've on its own. I would not recommend Davis and Goldmark Inc to watch my pets, let alone handle collections for me or my company. They did not perform due diligence and are attempting to collect money from a person who died more than 3 years ago! If this company had taken the time to check the decedent's credit report(s), they would've known that the person is deceased and all debts have been charged off/closed. To make it worse, the original creditor is aware that the person is deceased. Sad but true.
