Stay away from Davis CPA. They are very unprofessional. Several times, screwed up my income tax returns because they put the wrong address and I did not receive the home rebate. Davis CPA act likes they are the only one doing taxes, they are very arrogant. They are very expensive comparing to others competitors. Do not do business with this incompetent, unprofessional, expensive business.
Very rude and unprofessional accountants. My parents and myself had our taxes completed by Joel Penn and never had any complaints. Then the company was brought by Davis COA group and they wanted to charge me $450 to file my taxes which is ridiculous! When I told them I would be having someone else file my taxes they continued to call me and ask for the $450 so they could file for me and the accountants were very nasty about it. I'd use TurboTax before I ever go to this place again. I recommend them to no one.
We used them for several years, and just a few years ago referred my 80+ year old mother to them. They were fine, UNTIL THEY WEREN'T. This year, my almost 90 year old mother found errors in her return, and then I found more. First, an office staff member tried to snow her with some lame excuse which was an outright lie (that once upon a time the original bank name was Philadelphia Coke). Disgraceful. I will start by saying I was getting my taxes done by Joel Penn on the white horse pike since the age of 15 when I started working. When Joels byisness was puchased by Davis CPA I just transitioned to using them. I have been with them ever since. I recently got married so this past tax season Davis CPA gained a new customer when my husband started gwtting his taxes done with me. I just paid just over $330 to have our taxes done.
