Such a wonderful resource to have here in Davis! The volunteers were incredibly helpful, and patient and kind as they helped my 12 year old son fix up his bike. As we biked way he said “oh wow, it’s SO MUCH BETTER!!” with a huge smile on his face :-)
Took my bike to a different bike shop and they told me I would just need to get my rear bearings adjusted. As I left the parking lot, they called me and said the damage was more significant than they thought, and that I would have to pay $200 for a tire replacement. I found this place by chance on google maps, and I cannot have been happier with their service! We found a used tire that matched my bike and they were able to install it for $25. very cool place, great to get cheap bikes, or learn how to do maintenance. volunteers are very nice and helpful
Went during volunteer time. The volunteer was busy on his own project, very brusque and unwelcoming. So I just left. I’m sure it’s a good place for people who really know bikes and just need a space to fix their bike.
