Got my front brakes fixed today, thanks to Nick for helping a ton. Friendly volunteers and a really nice place overall. You would also learn in the process of fixing stuff so that's super helpful. Prices are quite affordable. Best place in Davis for bikes I would say

Such a wonderful resource to have here in Davis! The volunteers were incredibly helpful, and patient and kind as they helped my 12 year old son fix up his bike. As we biked way he said “oh wow, it’s SO MUCH BETTER!!” with a huge smile on his face :-)
Took my bike to a different bike shop and they told me I would just need to get my rear bearings adjusted. As I left the parking lot, they called me and said the damage was more significant than they thought, and that I would have to pay $200 for a tire replacement. I found this place by chance on google maps, and I cannot have been happier with their service! We found a used tire that matched my bike and they were able to install it for $25.
