I was at work with my two colleagues, when I visited this beautiful residential home. God it was breathtaking like the reception we got from the staff and then the physical side of the reception. Wow it’s towards Christmas now, the Christmas decorations are up and they are to die for. When we went inside the building everything started to fall into place like how organised this place is. DWG was chosen for respite for my mother who has dementia. The day before she was due home we were told she was being confrontational and shouting at a resident (who has dementia) for following her and going into her room. However she WAS following her and going into her room, she did it when we were there!!!! it's what this lady does but apparently that's ok because she's a resident and harmless...How dare my mother find that unsettling! Did I mention she suffers with dementia? She was assessed and accepted which she should... read more

Visited cafe today and was very impressed with both the cafe and staff. Staff were very helpful & friendly and nothing was a bother to them. A lovely comfortable place to have a fab lunch with lovely surroundings. Well done to all the staff what a great place to visit. 👍x
