I'm a psychoanalyst and doctoral level licensed psychologist who has known Dr. Votruba for many years as a very thoughtful, kind and smart psychoanalyst and psychotherapist. I refer prospective patients to him with complete confidence.
I went to him once. I thought he was horrible. He was really quiet, would tell me to keep talking to him about things that I really thought were irrelevant. It seemed like he just didn't want to actually talk and give advice and do his job. He also spent the last 15 minutes of our session talking about how I was going to pay?
