went in looking for jelly cats for my birthday. not very happy with my experience.
I believe they profiled me as someone with visible disability to be shoplifting. They kept nagging me in the change room where it was over the top, and I walked out to be surrounded by two staff members and three security guards. Unsurprisingly I didn’t actually steal anything but they worked this out after they made a big fuss about it. None of them actually apologised for this while I was in the store either. What a wonderful experience. Daria, Oliver & Luke in the menswear department were extremely helpful, very attentive and honestly without them there’s no way we could have picked out three ensembles for my husband within 40 minutes! We have recently moved to Canberra and look forward to many more fun shopping trips to David jones Woden.
