I stopped into the makeup department on the 15th of July, I waited a short while looking for some help and it seemed like there was no one working in the whole store. I ended up getting help from a very lovely lady named Neda, she was from Lancôme, even though I was shopping for Estee Lauder she helped me as much as she could. I give her 5 stars! But I would give David Jones a 3.5 for not having any staff around, as there were multiple people waiting for help and poor Neda trying to attend them all on her own.

It’s astonishing that this is what David Jones now calls customer service. I ordered a $620 dress and realised it was being sent to the wrong address. There were five days before the order was dispatched, yet there was seemingly nothing anyone was willing to do. Every email received what appeared to be AI-generated or copy-and-paste responses that completely ignored the question being asked. Instead of addressing the issue, I was repeatedly told to update the delivery through the Australia Post app. That wasn’t even possible... read more
