Am just back from this first class place great manager plus great friendly staff thanks very much for the walk a around
I visited my dad who has just moved there from another care home. It was dinner time and I sat with my dad as he had soup. It was quite noisy but the staff and the residents seemed very nice and inclusive.
The manager and the carers are lovely! Very warm, friendly and approachable. Needing to feed back about the condition of the building, decor and appearance... shocking. Lovely big sandstone building but horrendous inside. The fire exit stairs at the back were overly rusted. Sorry, the owners should improve.
An excellent care home. My gran was here for a number of years as dementia slowly took her. From what I observed she was always treated with dignity and care by the staff there. And visitors were always looked after and welcomed.
Not the most comfortable care home but staff are great. My dad spent 7yrs here and passed away in peace there last night.
