I have had a handful of rehairs as well as a new cello bridge made by David. An excellent, informative and issue-free customer experience from start to finish. David is deeply knowledgeable and very generous with his time and insight. Any player will be well taken care of with any of their needs at his studio.

We had an amazing and personal experience finding a perfect violin for our son at David's shop. He took so much time to help him try all the options and find "his" violin. I could not recommend him more to anyone. He is extremely knowledgeable and we learned so much from him. I would recommend to anyone looking for a high quality instrument and a personalized experience from one of the best makers in the business.
I brought in my viola to get one thing adjusted and David consulted me on a few other things that could use work as well with no charge. I had such a wonderful experience and he is a lovely person. Will definitely be going back and highly recommend.
Today my son and I stopped by David Bonsey’s violin shop to show a violin we have that needs attention. David is very knowledgeable with excellent social skills. He was able to accommodate time for us and because we are from out of town he was able to make the necessary adjustments to our violin in one day.
