Had this shop replace the bearings in a Mavic Ksyrium instant drive hub. Was told only one bearing needed replacing and that they had cleaned and greased the internal cogs within the hub. I would be charged £50 for the work as the single replacement bearing cost £25. When I checked the work done on the hub I noticed they hadn't cleaned and greased anything, the grease I had used before having the work done was still present and had turned a dirty black colour due to its age and use. After a few discussions with Jim about a new bike, we talked about my FL760 which was custom built for me 10 years ago. Why change a bike built for you, when it can be updated and upgraded. So with parts part exchanged, stripped and resprayed, with new Shimano Ultegra Di2 fitted, it could be a new bike. Thanks to Jim and Dave, service is always second to none.

Got in touch with Jim as I was looking for some 26" MTB tyres with a low rolling resistance for paved paths. They had some Continental's in-stock which were ideal, and they got them across to me within a day or two. Very happy with their knowledge and service.
I went into the shop for the first time looking for a pair or tyres for my old bicycle, But while I was there looking around I asked if they had any second hand bikes which would suit my height and type of riding. So Jim showed me a couple of bikes which would be suitable - one ex demo and one second hand. I choose the ex demo bike which Jim offered to change a couple of things and set it up for me. Im very pleased it fits perfectly, brillant service and knowledgeable, a proper bike shop.
