Got to ride the DATCO on the final bus ride this afternoon. It's a shame that DATCO ended this line that connected Fairhaven/New Bedford to South Station/Boston. I'm going to miss the friendly drivers and customers.
Before the pandemic, I used Dattco buses (New Bedford-Boston) several times a year. The service it provided was reliable. The buses ran on time, drivers were polite. Drivers are still friendly and patient, but there are not enough buses on the road. I understand there is covid-19 and gasoline prices are rising. But I miss a couple of extra buses on a daily schedule.
Great option when going to Boston.
