DATCU IS AN EXCELLENT BANKING INSTITUTION
If you need a reputable, reliable bank with courteous, friendly, knowledgeable people, I highly recommend joining DATCU in Denton. I have been a member for at least 40 years, and I cannot think of a single negative comment to make. They have helped me with loans and even with dealing with fraudulent activity. I highly recommend DATCU as your place for banking
Disappointed lately in how they respond to questions. I got an error online with a business account transfer and it states "error restrictions" so what are they? If you receive errors explain them. I inquired about it and the AI response was "there are restrictions". That is not an explanation. DATCU needs to have more freedom with business accounts, I tried to pay property taxes and the BillPay amount is RESTRICTED for a business (paying Denton County property taxes-geez!). I wouldn’t recommend this bank to anyone! They are 30 years behind on technology, if you’re just a couple days past due on a payment they will hold your money and if you go negative even $50 they will close your bank account down and all access (even when you still have other accounts open). I’ve been with them for 12 years and I cannot get away from them fast enough. DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT Bank with them unless you want them to chokehold your money and shut down your account over $48.
