Draftsight is a wonderful software which installed perfectly on my Dell machine. How fantastic that they supplied the software and training for free so that I could get up to speed quickly on 2D CAD. All of their products are great, especially SOLIDWORKS. So many add-ons, amazing!!! Thanks Dassault, and looking forward to the Dallas SWW this year!
Installing DraftSight is a pain. Communicating with this company is a pain. I uninstalled DraftSight and tried to reinstall and ran into so many problems. Research on their website shows that the problem has been brought forth before Error 1714 on reinstall and NO ANSWERS. I believe it to be a corrupt registry, but do not have the product code(s) to clean and no registry cleaner I have seen cleans it.
