They got rid of the trays to do work, quality of seats somehow declined (I did the route from Boston to Leb/Hanover/New London well over 20 times growing up and, while the comfort level wasn’t great then, the seats were at least soft and cushiony and there used to be a foot rest and net to place items in the back of the seat. There were no snacks/beverages like other times I’ve taken this trip.
