I first come to this company in 2017 and it was everything I expected down to the Coronado I always wanted to drive. I literally burned myself out the past two times I was here because of my own greed! ( NO FAULT ON THEIR PART)and back a third time with a better mindset! 26 years of trucking and these folks have treated me better than any other company I've ever been with! So happy my family found this company! They are organized, communicate with their drivers in a timely manner, provide nice equipment and consistency. They are honest and reliable people to work for and that's hard to find in the trucking business.

If you are honest and hard-working, Dark Horse Express will be a great home for your career! The trucks running ELD average 3100-3400 miles per week, every week. Running newer equipment is one of the perks, along with tons of drop/hook. Now, If you are a big talker that can't handle turning miles, this isnt the place for you. If you quit under dispatch, and damages the truck, yes they will charge you back for that. They do report to HireRight (DAC) and Ten Street, so leave with at least a weeks notice and you'll be just fine... read more
