Recently my mother passed away at Danygriag nursing home after a short stay of only 3 months but during that time the staff at the home were excellent and mam was happy and content. My mam went there after a 16 week stay in hospital, which she said she would never return to and even though her health deteriorated rapidly towards the end the whole team respected her wishes and put everything in place to keep her comfortable and pain free. This care home was highly recommended by my Mum's GP and I was very impressed with the care my Mum got during her time there. She moved in during the pandemic and was extremely well looked after. The staff went out of their way to give us access including bringing her outside when the weather was good so we could sit with her on their lovely decking area. I can't thank them enough for the care they showed in my Mum's last few months. Just like her GP did, I highly recommend it.
