We met Walt when we first walked in about 2 months ago. He was knowledgeable about the motors, fans, air movement and lighting. He gave us a catalog and we marked the fans we discussed. A couple of weeks later we went in to purchase 2 fans with lighting and Ryland was our fan guy. Nobody knows these fans like he does. I'm a DIYer and Ryland gave me the pitfalls and best practices. I cannot remember having GREAT customer in such a long time. Needed part for outdated fan…..they followed up with call after several days saying no luck but assured me there were more avenues they were investigating. Received call found the part, it was on their truck heading to jax…another call when it arrived! Picked it up today, saved me from buying a new fan! I’m sold on Dans Fan City👏🏻
In the last month we purchased 5 fans from the store that has Ryland Patrick as manager. We only buy from him. Prior to this year we bought another 3 fans from him. He is so knowledgeable. He is patient, has a design mind and knows how to steer us to products that will make us happy. Although a bit more pricey than the box stores. It is so worth it. Huge inventory for every need. He even taught us how to use the measuring tape on our IPhone!
We had a great experience working with Ryland at Dan’s Fan City while purchasing two ceiling fans for our all-seasons back porch. We’ve shopped here several times over the years and have consistently appreciated the knowledgeable staff and smooth purchasing experience. Highly recommend!
Great service and selection! We appreciate Ryland's attention and assistance in selecting fans. He is very knowledgeable and convincing as a salesman, as well as respectful of the customer's wishes. We bought two fans, one he recommended, the other was my idea. I especially like the many options available beyond "which fan": you can also get different blades, different light kits, etc.
