Daniel is the best! Our family took a sunrise to sunset photography tour with him, and it was the best day of our trip. He’s kind, patient, generous and shared all of his special locations and photography knowledge with us. Could not recommend this tour more! A beautiful way to spend the day and see the island. We came home with wonderful memories and spectacular photos thanks to Daniel. Can’t wait to go back and do it again!
These were quite simply the best photography tours I’ve ever done. Daniel‘s expertise as a photographer is second to none and this expertise is only matched by his intricate and detailed knowledge of one of the most beautiful places on earth. I have been coming to Maui for over 30 years photographing many things. My open helicopter tour shooting the whale activity with Daniel is the most exceptional and unique activity for a photographer. Ready for another Daniel photo shoot
I met Daniel about ten years ago, just after he published his first book of Maui photos. I walked into his air-conditioned store because it was hot and humid outside, but once inside, I was really impressed with the photos on the wall. He happened to be working in the store that day, and he mentioned that in addition to taking and selling photos, he also did private photo tours. I decided to give it a try. Wonderful & Amazing experience! My friends and I did a day road tour to Hana with Daniel. In addition to learning a lot about photography and discovering many absolutely beautiful sights along the way, we also learned about Hana and Maui/Hawai’i in general.
