I met Daniel about ten years ago, just after he published his first book of Maui photos. I walked into his air-conditioned store because it was hot and humid outside, but once inside, I was really impressed with the photos on the wall. He happened to be working in the store that day, and he mentioned that in addition to taking and selling photos, he also did private photo tours. I decided to give it a try. Wonderful & Amazing experience! My friends and I did a day road tour to Hana with Daniel. In addition to learning a lot about photography and discovering many absolutely beautiful sights along the way, we also learned about Hana and Maui/Hawai’i in general. This is one of, if not THE best, tour I & my group have had in the 5 years of vacationing in Maui & Kauai. It was private. Daniel was so knowledgeable about the road to Hana, expertly driving a challenging road. He took us to many beautiful spots, some of which are not widely known or stopped at by the large group tours. We also stopped at known spots just ahead of the crowds. He picked out and stopped at the best food spots. Our photography tour with Daniel Sullivan was amazing! He took us to the West side of Maui and took us to some incredible places to photograph. Our favorite was Dragon’s tooth. Daniel was a wealth of knowledge and shared so much of Hawaii’s history. We would highly recommend his tour to anybody who wants to explore local and non touristy areas and take some amazing photographs of Hawaiis beautiful landscape. Thank you Daniel Sullivan.
