Awful provider. This person shouldn't even be practicing. It took a long time for me to convince one of my family members to go a mental health appointment. He was belittled right from the start. Do not come here if you want a accepting loving environment where you can open up. That same family member has still not seen any other providers because of the terrible treatment he got from Daniel Bruce as a counselor a year ago. Awful awful counselor.
Worst experience ever trying to deal with Daniel Bruce. He refused to see me unless i payed $70 then when i said i couldn't pay that because i normally pay a $10 copay he said I owe him the $70 just for showing up. I called my insurance and they told me I have met my deductible and out of pockets and I shouldn't even have a copay and they have no idea where the $70 comes from. Daniel Bruce's office doesn't answer their phone and I can't seem to find a direct email anywhere to find out anything
My wife and son and I went to see Dr. Bruce about anger issues that my son was having at school and home. Dr. Bruce helped us understand the situation better, relieved our fears, and gave us some excellent practical advice to help us move forward. Our son benefited and so did we. I would highly recommend Dr. Bruce--wise, practical, understanding counsel.
