Being on a retreat with Dance of the Deer Foundation was a very enriching and uplifting experience! I loved 'feeling' into the teachings, and what I came away with is like a piece of my heart found home. The group is absolutely delightful. I couldn't have asked for more. Looking forward to booking again!

The weekend retreat at Monterey Bay was a revelation in so many wondrous ways. The people attending carried a rare and refined energy that spoke to their intention to return harmony and balance to a world sadly lacking in both. Supportive, gentle, committed. This spiritual tradition is very beautiful and also very powerful. I have gone on a number of pilgrimages and had healings from Brant Secunda that have impacted my heath in a positive way. One message from the Huichols is to make yourself happy. Nothing is written in stone, not illness nor what we might call failure, and whatever your issue you can continue to try and be the best person you can be in this world while you still have life in this world. I was very unsure what to expect from this retreat. As I was invited by a friend I was unsure about the leader and if he would seem like the real deal. Within the first night I felt he was. His stories were beautiful and non-egoic. I had not been familiar with this cosmology but it resonated very deeply. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My favorite was the rattling and the beautiful art that filled the room.
